A Wealth of Experience Built In
Jake Romero is a former Intel analyst and co-owner of the Folsom Pet Resort in Folsom, CA. Folsom Pet Resort achieved their success by first committing to and insisting on quality care, then studying proven processes to look for efficiencies. Under Jake’s leadership, Folsom Pet Resort ultimately kept running into to the same shortcomings– their business, and many others, was limited by the lackluster software options on the market. At Folsom, Jake was forced to invent workarounds to get the data and quality control he wanted from his software—in fact, Folsom Pet Resort had multiple people on staff dedicated solely to this. Something had to be done, so he teamed up with software experts to build the solution all pet resort owners needed.
In 2018 Jake partnered with Martin Scheidel, a technology expert and former CIO in the hospitality industry. Jake and Martin collaborated with other large pet care facility owners across the country to flesh out additional features, identify reporting needs, and conduct comprehensive system testing. Pet Resort Pro was released for commercial use in late 2020.
